Alex Mottola is a Creative Producer specializing in unscripted television, digital content, and social-first series.

Previously, Alex cast and produced the reboot of the iconic TLC series My Strange Addiction, served as a Director of Digital Series, creating original mid-form programming for Yahoo!’s digital branch, and worked as a Casting Producer and Editor for Bravo, HGTV, and E! His experience spans series development, casting, field production, and post.

In 2025, Alex transitioned out of TV and into social media, taking over as the Producer for NowThis’ Crosswalk Crush, growing the series from 50k followers to over 400k, through social-first changes and targeted casting choices.

Alex currently serves as the Content Strategist at Doing Things and Overheard, leading growth strategy for Hot & Single and Relationship Rehab, and as the Producer of Stuff Show, a new series in-development.
